I'm a composer, but I recently discovered that my real vocation is helping others and making things happen.
Freshly graduated, many of my colleagues were having a hard time finding paying work. I sold my guitar to finance an orchestra recording session, and jumped into a 5-year adventure of exhilarating work with East Coast Scoring.
My proudest moment was helping a bedridden old man out of the hospital with a recording project that engaged his mind and heart.
I founded Business Skills For Composers, the first community of its kind, and grew it to almost 7000 members with guided mentoring, crowdsourced educational initiatives, offline gatherings, and moderated discussions.
I now compose with Li & Ortega, a full-service game audio outsourcing partner trusted by some of the biggest companies and franchises in the world. (Team credits include: Call Of Duty, Borderlands, Skyrim, Hearthstone, Freefire, NBCUniversal, Disney, King, Ubisoft)
I love teaching. I've spoken at industry events including Casual Connect, the Boston Festival of Indie Games, GameSoundCon, the East Coast Game Conference, MAGfest, and colleges including NYU Tisch School Of The Arts, Rochester University, Wellesley College, and Berklee College of Music.
